What Happened

Arkansas State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 65 in Lake Village, AR on November 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:40 a.m. A tractor-trailer was said to have been making a left turn on a green arrow when a Hyundai passenger vehicle collided with the truck. Police say that the Hyundai failed to yield at a red light and the vehicles crashed head-on. Both the driver of the Hyundai, 26-year-old Karena Everett and her passenger, 23-year-old Diamante Estrellas, died in the crash. Additional details were not available.
