What Happened

Arkansas State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 7 near El Dorado, AR on July 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a Workhorse van operated by UPS driver 51-year-old Eric Stone, crossed a grassy median into the path of a northbound tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer collided with the right side of a van which rotated and ejected Stone from the vehicle. Stone suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The truck driver, Choisee Green and a passenger were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
