What Happened

Arkansas State Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at I-30 in Little Rock, AR on September 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Mazda is said to have become disabled in an eastbound lane of travel. An occupant of the vehicle, identified as 36-year-old Jamekio Williams, was standing outside of the vehicle as another vehicle approached. Reports say the approaching vehicle collided with the disabled Mazda, striking Williams and causing fatal injuries. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
