State Police confirmed the death of a firefighter in a collision in Pine Bluff, AR on February 26th, 2022. Police say 20-year-old Jason Lang, a firefighter with the West Memphis Fire Department was killed after stopping to help assist with an accident on the interstate. Officials say he was was struck by a passing 18 wheeler. Police identified 35-year-old Bung Di, 51-year-old Naw Seng Gauri, 49-year-old Demetrus D Brooks and 47-year-old Dwight D Slater as those who were injured in the accident.
