What Happened

State Police have identified the two people killed in a crash at Hwy 109 in Clarksville, AR on February 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:32 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was headed northbound approaching the intersection with County Rd 2250. Police believe an eastbound Chevrolet failed to yield at a posted stop sign, traveling into the intersection and leading to it colliding with the tractor-trailer. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 46-year-old Jeromy Ross and a passenger, 39-year-old Katie Jo Ross, were both killed when the truck overturned onto the Chevrolet. The condition of the truck driver was not stated.
