What Happened

Arkansas State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Hwy 65 in Leslie, AR on October 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. A Chrysler Concorde operated by 48-year-old Laveta Wofford was headed north on Hwy 65 when it traveled left of center and struck the front left of a Chevrolet RV. Wofford suffered fatal injuries. A passenger, 48-year-old Ronald Wofford as well as a passenger in the RV, 61-year-old Susan Benefiel, were treated for undisclosed injuries.
