What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that killed a driver at US Hwy 165 in Arkansas County, AR on September 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:20 p.m. A Chevrolet Traverse operated by 29-year-old Patravious Grayson was headed southbound on 165 when it crossed a center line into northbound lanes. It collided head on with a tractor-trailer as both vehicles attempted to swerve to avoid a collision. Grayson suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
