What Happened

State Police have identified the driver killed in a crash at US Hwy 70 in Daisy, AR on May 24th, 2023. Police say it happened around 10:06 a.m. and named 76-year-old William H Cox as the victim. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer occupied by Cox was headed eastbound prior to exiting the roadway for unclear reasons. While attempting to correct back onto the road, the vehicle overturned, sliding into a carport. The collision left Cox with injuries that were fatal. No other vehicles or injuries were reported to be involved.
