What Happened

San Diego County Officials are investigating a fall that killed a student at the UC San Diego campus in La Jolla, CA on October 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. Following a noise complaint, police say witnesses saw 18-year-old Aaron Fan fall out of an eighth floor window located in the bathroom of a dormitory on campus. The circumstances surrounding how the incident occurred were unknown, however, police were able to confirm that Fan died a short time later on October 23 after hospital transport from multiple injuries sustained in the fall.
