What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Ave 12 and Riverstone Blvd in Madera County, CA on August 30th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6 a.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler traveling westbound is alleged to have slowed to make a left turn before it was rear-ended by a semi-truck. Authorities say the semi-truck traveled into an opposite lane before colliding head-on with a Nissan Altima. Authorities say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 31-year-old Brittany Robbins, was fatally injured. The Chrysler operator, who was not publicly identified, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries, reports say. The other driver was allegedly uninjured.
