California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that left one person dead at I-80 in Sacramento, CA on May 10th, 2022. Police say it happened around 6:50 a.m. According to their investigations, a Ford F-650 operated by 42-year-old Ernest Detore was headed westbound on I-90 when it collided with the rear of a Ford F-450. This caused the F-450 to strike a tractor-trailer, leaving a passenger, identified as Adrian Flores, with serious injuries. Four others were treated for minor injuries. Detore was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
