What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that killed three people at US 75 in Richardson, TX on October 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened slightly before midnight. Reports are saying a Lexus SUV rear-ended a Cadillac SUV that was disabled in a southbound HOV lane. Following the initial collision, reports say a Dodge struck both vehicles following by several other vehicles. Police say 19-year-old Cadillac passenger, Alyia Khalid, was fatally injured. Also killed was the 6-year-old daughter of the Lexus operator as well as the operator, identified as 27-year-old Haley Taylor. Additionally, police say the driver of the Cadillac and four other passengers were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
