California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-10 near Monroe St in Indio, CA on March 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:42 p.m. According to police, a pickup truck was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed before colliding with the rear of a tractor-trailer parked on the side of the road. The pickup truck was pinned under the truck and the driver, an unidentified male, died at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck and his passenger both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
