What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-210 in Los Angeles, CA on May 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. According to investigators, a passenger car collided with the rear of a semi-truck under unclear circumstances. Two people in the passenger car, identified as 51-year-old Modesto Talamates and 40-year-old Thomas Ornelaz, suffered fatal injuries in the collision while the truck driver was not injured. Police had no additional information to share.
