What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at Coronado Ave in San Diego, CA on August 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:15 a.m. Investigators say a motorcycle headed eastbound collided with a rear of a flatbed truck under unclear circumstances. Reports indicate the truck was stationary at the time of the collision and investigators were not yet able to say why the vehicle was stopped. The unnamed 34-year-old motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The truck driver was not injured.
