What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-5 and Norwalk Blvd in Norwalk, CA on December 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:25 p.m. A box truck, which was allegedly traveling recklessly, is said to have somehow had tires detach from the truck causing it to lose control. It is said that traveled across multiple traffic lanes before colliding with a Honda Insight and overturning. One person involved was hospitalized, however it was not confirmed what the extent of their injuries were or what vehicle they were in.
