California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Route 89 in Placer County, CA on August 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 p.m. According to authorities, a box truck operated by a 43-year-old Vallejo man reportedly crossed double yellow lines before crossing into southbound travel lanes, colliding with three other vehicles. The driver of the one of the vehicles struck suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not available.
