California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at Hwy 99 near Simmerhorn Rd in Galt, CA on May 19th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:50 a.m. Investigators say a minivan allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed veered into a shoulder before colliding with the rear of a parked tractor-trailer. The driver of the minivan, identified as 42-year-old Richard Jooha Lim, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The other driver, a 50-year-old Arlington, TX man was not injured.
