What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-10 in Baldwin Park, CA on August 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:15 a.m. A 2011 Hyundai passenger vehicle was staid to have collided with the rear of a Freightliner tractor-trailer under unclear circumstances. The driver, 36-year-old Sandy Rocha, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver was not injured. Police had no further information to share.
