California City Police are investigating an alleged crash that occurred on October 25th, 2024, at around 4:40 p.m., resulting in the deaths of two people. According to officials, a Subaru Outback allegedly collided with the side of a tractor-trailer in the 9500 block of California City Boulevard. Investigators say the tractor-trailer was allegedly backing into the parking lot of Family Dollar when the westbound SUV allegedly slammed into its left side. Emergency responders confirmed that both occupants of the SUV were pronounced deceased at the scene.  Additional information was not available.
