California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 395 in Inyo County, CA on July 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:04 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Sonata allegedly traveling around 65 mph headed northbound on US 395 is said to have collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer traveling at a lower rate of speed. The impact caused fatal injuries to both occupants of the Hyundai. The driver of the truck was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
