Colorado State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Burgess Rd and Vollmer Rd in Black Forest, CO on July 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:08 p.m. A Ford F-150 headed west on Burgess Rd before driving through a stop sign and colliding with a semi-truck. A passenger in the pickup truck, 67-year-old Marie Macias, suffered fatal injuries. The driver and two child passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries. The truck driver was not injured.
