What Happened

Colorado State Police identified the person killed in a crash at I-25 near Mead, CO on August 9th, 2022. They say the incident involved  an 18-wheeler hauling an excavator colliding with  bridge. A Honda operated by 32-year-old Megan Mirella Arneson was involved in the collision, however it was not stated how the vehicle crashed. Arneson was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. A child passenger was also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
