What Happened

Colorado State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at I-25 and South Academy in Fountain, CO on March 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened as a semi-truck hauling vehicles struck a barrier under unclear circumstances. Reports say the vehicle overcorrected and entered into southbound lanes, striking an oncoming Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado. The truck overturned in the crash, its driver being hospitalized with serious injuries. Also seriously injured, reports say, were the driver of the Ford F-150 and a passenger.
