What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that injured several students at I-84 near Route 15 in East Hartford, CT on December 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:19 p.m. Investigators are saying a school bus was headed westbound on I-84 prior as it took a left-hand curve in the road. The bus lost control while navigating the curve and veered into a concrete barrier. 17 of the 29 passengers aboard were hospitalized with minor injuries or as a precaution.
