State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-95 in New Haven, CT on December 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 a.m. According to investigators, 55-year-old Alexis Vincente was stopped in a shoulder area as a tractor-trailer approached. Reports say Vincente was standing outside of his stopped tractor-trailer when he was struck by the approaching truck under unclear circumstances. The collision left Vincente with serious injuries and was hospitalized. Reports say Vincente later died from his injuries while the other driver was allegedly uninjured.
