What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a child at Hollyville Rd in Millsboro, DE on January 17th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 1 p.m. A Jeep operated by an unidentified 17-year-old girl was headed south of Harmony Cemetery Rd when it allegedly crossed into southbound lanes. The vehicle then began to spin and was struck on the passenger side by a flatbed tractor-trailer. A 13-year-old passenger in the Jeep died at the scene.
