State Police are investigating a crash that killed a teen at South DuPont Highway in Harrington, DE on April 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. According to their report, a tractor-trailer headed northbound reportedly failed to stop in a left turn lane and went across the southbound lanes into the path of a Volkswagen Jetta. The two vehicles collided, causing fatal injuries to an 18-year-old female passenger in the Jetta. The 18-year-old male driver of the Jetta was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The truck driver, age 65 from Townsend, was not injured. Additional information was unknown.
