What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at  I-75 and County Rd 41 in Pasco County, FL on May 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1 p.m. Investigators say a commercial truck suffered a tire blowout that caused it to lost control and collide with the rear of a Land O'Lakes Recycling truck. The impact caused the commercial truck to overturn and the driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. The other driver was taken to an area hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
