What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-10 near Marianna, FL on September 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to initial investigation, a van headed westbound on I-10 is said to have crossed a median into oncoming traffic before colliding with a semi-truck. The truck veered into a ditch and its attached trailer detached, overturning onto the cab of the truck. The driver of the semi-truck died at the scene. Police did not state the condition of the van operator and had no additional information to share.
