Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-275 in Pinellas, FL on September 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:45 a.m. An SUV in a construction zone collided with a semi-truck that entered a median to make a u-turn. The driver, a 42-year-old Groveland man, died in the collision. The driver of the truck and his passenger were not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
