What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating  crash that killed a man at SR 50 and Hale Rd in Brooksville, FL on August 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound on SR 50 is said to have performed a u-turn at the intersection with Hale Ave, colliding with a sedan. The driver of the sedan, an unidentified male, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Additional information was not immediately available.
