What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a man at County Rd 476 and State Rd 471 in Sumter County, FL on February 5th, 2025. Officials say a dump truck headed eastbound collided with a Chevrolet van headed northbound. Reprots allege the dump truck failed to stop for a posted stop sign before entering into the intersection.
