Florida Highway Patrol officials have information on a collision that killed a man at Hwy 98 and Brookwood Blvd in Okaloosa County, FL on June 24th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. According to investigators, a box truck headed eastbound is alleged to have collided with the rear of an eastbound motorcycle under unclear circumstances. The collision is said to have left the 50-year-old motorcyclist, who was not publicly identified, fatally injured. The truck operator was allegedly uninjured.
