What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-10 in Madison County, FL on August 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:20 p.m. A semi-truck veered from the road and crashed into a guardrail before hitting a moving truck. The impact caused a moving truck to collided with the rear of a semi-truck ad a sedan which lost control attempting to avoid the crash. The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene. A passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the moving truck was treated for minor injuries.
