Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-75 and State Rd 44 in Wildwood, FL on April 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:46 p.m. Investigators are saying a Nissan Rogue was northbound at an I-75 entrance ramp when it collided with a tractor-trailer parked in an east shoulder. Reports say a 25-year-old passenger in the Nissan was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The driver is said to have suffered minot injuries, reports say, while the tractor-trailer operator was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
