What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Saxon Blvd and I-4 in Volusia County, FL on June 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 a.m. Investigators area saying it involved a motorcycle, pickup truck and semi-truck and began when the motorcycle riding in the center lane failed to slow. The bike crashed into a boat trailer being towed by the pickup, leaving the operator of the bike with fatal injuries. Police say no one else involved suffered injuries.
