What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Rd 50 and Sabal Palm Dr in Orlando, FL on November 25th, 2024. Police say the incident happend around 6:10 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed northbound on Sabal Palm Drive allegedly turned left into the path of an eastbound Chevrolet Equinox, the two vehicles colliding as a result. Authorities say the 54-year-old man operating the Chevrolet was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The truck operator was allegedly uninjured and remained at the scene.
