What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Route 60 in Bartow, FL on October 29th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 5:45 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck is alleged to have exited a business lot before performing a u-turn. In the process, repros say the truck collided with a Dodge Ram headed eastbound. The truck is said to have traveled under the truck, trapping and killing its 73-year-old driver. The semi-truck operator was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
