Police say the incident happened as an unnamed 71=year-old Risingsun, OH man was operating a motorcycle. The motorcycle was reportedly going northbound on SW Fort Winder St approaching a curve in the roadway. While taking the curve, the vehicle is said to have veered into a southbound lane, striking a semi-truck in the lane head-on. The collision left the motorcyclist with fatal injuries at the scene.
