Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 98 near Gulf National Sea Shore Dr in Okaloosa Island, FL on December 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a jogger veered into a westbound travel lane of US 98 from a nearby bike lane. An approaching commercial truck is said to have attempted to veer away from the pedestrian before the front right corner struck the man, who died at the scene.
