What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at NW 154th St and Okeechobee Blvd in Miami-Dade County, FL on February 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a Honda SUV headed southbound allegedly switched lanes in front of a dump truck. The dump truck then swerved to avoid a head-on collision and the SUV overturned before the dump truck collided with a second dump truck. Seven people were treated for injuries in the crash, six being taken to an area hospital. Additional information was not immediately available.
