What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-95 in Melbourne, FL on March 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck allegedly failed to maintain its speed and collided with the rear of a Hyundai Accent. The collision caused the Accent to spin into and strike a Hyundai Elantra. One driver involved, a 70-year-old Palm Bay man, was killed. Additional details were not available.
