Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at North Lake Parker Ave in Lakeland, FL on August 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:41 p.m. Investigators say a 36-year-old woman who was not publicly identified was on-foot when she was struck by a semi-truck. Officials believe the truck was headed southbound, nearing the East Rose Street intersection when it turning onto East Rose Street and collided with the woman.
