What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured seven people at  Clark Rd and I-75 in Sarasota, FL on July 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer was involved in a collision with five other vehicles that occurred under unclear circumstances. Police are saying preliminary investigation suggests the tractor-trailer failed to stop in time to avid a chain reaction collision. Seven people involved were hospitalized with various injuries.
