What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a teen at County Rd 484 and SW 27th Circle in Marion, FL on April 1st, 2022. They say the incident happened a westbound cementer truck was entering a left turn lane to go SW onto 27th Circle. Investigators believe the cement truck turned left and collided with the side of an eastbound Toyota Camry, pushing the Camry into a stop sign. The driver of the Camry, an unidentified 17-year-old female, died at the scene. The truck driver was not injured. Additional information was not provided.
