What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed three people at County Rd 74 and Eugene Ave in Charlotte County, FL on April 2nd, 2022. They say the incident happened around 2:58 a.m. According to their investigations, a pickup truck headed westbound on County Rd 74 collided with the front a semi-truck headed eastbound. Both trucks caught fire in the impact and the three occupants of the pickup truck died at the scene. Additional information was not available.
