What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 301 and SE 162nd Ave in Alachua County, FL on August 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:58 a.m. A school bus and sedan collided in an intersection under unclear circumstances. The driver of the sedan and an 18-year-old passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries. There were 14 students aboard, none of whom was injured. The bus driver was also uninjured.
