What Happened

State Police report for the accident at State Road 71 in Gulf County, FL on January 17th, 2022. Police are saying a pickup truck operated by a 33-year-old Wewahitchka man was attempting a left turn from State Rd 71 onto Stone Mill Creek Rd when it was struck by a tractor-trailer, The driver of the pickup truck and his 33-year-old Naples passenger were reportedly not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the truck in the collision. They died at the scene. Additional information was not immediately.
