What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-75 in Tampa, FL on June 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a northbound semi-truck veered into an outside shoulder and stuck a second semi-truck. Gas tanks attached to the truck became detached before falling onto a passing Buick Enclave. A passenger in the Buick, an unidentified 49-year-old woman, died. The driver and two other passenger suffered minor injuries. The drivers of both trucks also suffered minor injuries.
